I'm sorry to be the person to pass on the sad news that Bob, my father died on Wednesday afternoon. I hope that you and the Chess Club Members who knew him will drink a "shwa-shwa (tot of whisky) after your next match in his memory.

Bob was a member of the B&H chess club for many years but switched to playing for Woodpushers some years ago. He was also a bridge player.
