Club Opening Dates 2025/26

As well as every Monday evening 7pm-11pm, the club is open on the following afternoons 2pm-6pm:

April: Sunday 5th and 26th
May: Sunday 10th and 24th

Funeral of Peter Benson

 It is with sad regret that the club announces the funeral tomorrow of Peter Benson.

He was an active member of the club for over 50 yeras.. 

A committed friendly member of the club , positive , enthusiastic and passionate about the game.

He had long associations with long term members of the club. In particular Michael Gyure often speaks of the gratitude he feel towards Peter for encouraging him and developing his own passion for the game.

Peter was a sound club player and often represented the county in their chess meatches.

Members are invited to the funeral tomorrow at Woodvale South Chapel Crematorium for 12.30 pm and afterwards the Neptune . Hove.
