The club will be shut on Boxing Day and the following Saturday, 28th December.
If it's too long for you to survive without a game or two then scoot over to Hastings for the kick-off of the legendary Hastings International Chess Congress where the Christmas Weekender starts at 9:30 Saturday morning.
